Professional Qualifications: CPA K / ACCA. Primary responsibilities: Facilitate payments book keeping and support the Senior Accountant & Finance Manager in day to day finance work. Starting in 2022, the Harvest Foundation will no longer fund teacher training in technology and curriculum development. Africa Harvest Biotech Foundation International wishes to recruit a highly competent and proactive person to fill the following position: ACCOUNTANT. Funding of both capital items and operating program costs will be considered. Applications from organizations serving low-income or underserved children will be favored. The desired outcome of these classes must include an alignment with state arts education requirements. The Foundation’s goal for grants in arts education is to assist arts organizations in providing hands-on arts classes in schools.

Promoting economic self-sufficiency through education and training of youth or families with children.

It is specifically interested in organizations that provide services in two areas: The Foundation seeks to support the work of community social service agencies. The Foundation will consider applications for general operating grants only for organizations whose mission and operations are closely aligned with the Harvest Foundation’s funding areas. Grants must not constitute more than 20% of the supported program’s annual budget. Grants will not be made to the same organization for more than three consecutive years. The Foundation awards annual grants in the amount of $10,000 each. The Harvest Foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) organizations located in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. The Harvest Foundation was created in 2000 as a private, family foundation to provide funding primarily in the areas of Social Services and Education.

At this time we are not accepting letters of inquiry for grants in 2022 or 2023. September 26 2022: In Spring of 2022 we awarded grants to seven Arts Education organizations.įor our Fall 2022 grant cycle we have asked a group of organizations to submit applications for Social Service grants. We do not expect to substantially change our areas of funding priorities, but that will be considered.
